“On 7/27 I had my first baby. Baby was bottom first breech and my water broke. It wasn’t my ideal birth experience and I wanted to at least be able to breast feed my baby. I had no idea that c-sections can cause milk delay. I started to panic and did not have enough lactation support in the hospital. I reached out to my doula and she referred me to Latrina. I set up the appointment right away for 7/30. Immediately Latrina showed me that my milk was there. We went over how to feed baby and prevent pain, what positions to comfortably feed in, hand expression, how much babies should actually be eating, how to increase milk supply as well as a plethora of other things. Latrina was very knowledgeable and helped me & baby so much. I would not have been able to feel confident about feeding baby if it were not for her. Latrina was very sweet and patient. She also showed me how to use my breast pump. That same night I was able to pump 10ml! I highly recommend Latrina if you need assistance with breast feeding.”
